What is Arduino for Beginners?

Arduino for Beginners is a hands-on, practical course that introduces students to the world of physical computing and electronics. Using the Arduino microcontroller platform, students learn to write code that interacts with the real world — controlling LEDs, reading sensors, driving motors, and building smart systems from scratch. No prior electronics experience is required.

Module 1 — Introduction to Arduino What is Arduino, types of Arduino boards, microcontroller basics, setting up the IDE, anatomy of a sketch (setup & loop).

Module 2 — Your First Sketch Blink LED, digital output, pinMode, digitalWrite, delay — understanding the Hello World of hardware.

Module 3 — Digital Input Push buttons, pull-up/pull-down resistors, digitalRead, debouncing, controlling output with input.

Module 4 — Analog Input & Output analogRead, analogWrite (PWM), potentiometers, LED brightness control, analog sensors.

Module 5 — Working with Sensors Temperature sensor (DHT11/LM35), ultrasonic distance sensor (HC-SR04), IR sensor, reading and displaying sensor data.

Module 6 — Controlling Actuators Servo motors, DC motors with L298N driver, buzzers, relays — making things move and react.

Module 7 — Serial Communication Serial Monitor, Serial.print, sending/receiving data, basic Arduino-to-computer communication.

Module 8 — Mini Projects Smart distance alarm, temperature display, automatic light control, mini line follower — applying everything learned.
